I love them! They are really sparkly and eye-catching. Already I have so many requests from people to bling their Converse! If you would like me to do yours, drop me a message!

Blingy Converse..
I decided to bling my new Converse! Do you like them?
Essence Stay All Day Cream Eyeshadow
When I was at the Essence stand yesterday, I noticed a lot of things were half price! I heard this is because Essence are discontinuing some things to make way for new shades. I had spotted this cream eyeshadow (shade For Fairies) which I thought seemed to be a good dupe for my beloved Benefit Creaseless Cream in RSVP.
I adore shades like this so I am very happy with it and it only cost me £1.50! The texture is a little lumpier than the Benefit cream eyeshadows, but I just applied it with my fingertips and it did smooth on very evenly. It is a gorgeous, shimmery pink, and I have been wearing it for about six hours now and no creases! Amazing!
Essence Haul
I popped into my local chemist yesterday and they had the new Vintage District collection! I had been dying to get my hands on it. This is what I got:
I added some of the nail art to see what it was like!
This is the blush, the shade is called It's Popul-Art. It looks absolutely beautiful, it was almost a shame to start using it!
This is how it looks on me. It is a very natural looking blush. I think it just gives me a healthy looking glow. It almost works like a bronzer. Unfortunately, after using this blush just once, the lovely gold design is now gone.. :(
I love this lipstick/gloss duo! This is in the shade Vintage Peach.
This is one of the Vintage District eyeshadows. I chose the shade I'm so Retro. I was quite intrigued as to how this was going to look on..
Overall, I do really like this collection. The nail polishes and the nail art kits are fantastic and definitely the best thing about this collection. The lipstick/lipgloss duo is also amazing, and I think I might have to purchase more! It's the perfect shade for me too. The only disappointment is the blush. I wish the gold pigment was not just on the surface.
Have you purchased anything from the Vintage District collection? What do you think?
These nail art kits are amazing! There is such a variety included. I love adding a bit of sparkle to my nails. I'll never be stuck for choice now!
These nail polishes are lovely! This shade is call Shopping at Portabello Road.
Antique Pink
Get Arty
My favourite shade was Vintage Peach.

This is just the lipstick on it's own..
And with the gloss layered over it.

Tan Time! Baby B Browne Review
I know it's only February, but I really wanted to show you this amazing tan which I discovered last year. Baby B Browne is developed in Northern Ireland and costs just £14.95. Previously, I had been spending £25 or £30 on St Tropez Lotion, and while I did think it was a nice tan, the truth is it never lasted long on me and always came off when I had a shower. My local beauty salon were selling Baby B Browne so I thought I would give it a try.
I am not really a huge lover of fake tans. I just like to wear a little bit to enhance my skin tone really. I would never pile loads of it on! Although on the bottle this tan is described as being medium, when I put my usual amount on it looks perfect so it is a buildable tan if you want it darker.
This tan smells absolutely gorgeous, it is vanilla scented and I love it! Some fake tans usually smell really bad but this is absolutely lovely. I apply it using a tanning mitt. It is very easy to apply evenly without streaking!
An application of Baby B Browne would last me the best part of a week, versus one or two days with St Tropez tan. I would highly recommend everything about this tan. The reasonable price, the longevity, and the lovely scent. I genuinely would not use anything else now and I think everyone should try it. You can order it online at www.babybbrowne.co.uk - go and check it out!

Product Review - Catrice Prime and Fine
I picked this up in Pennys for €5 I think. The "invisible pores and lines" tagline attracted me, because I am noticing lines around my eyes which I am not happy about. Wearing concealer only makes them more obvious. The worst part is I am only 24 years old!
It is so difficult to describe the texture of this product. It is silky smooth, yet it feels almost rubbery too. There is a slight scent off this product. My skin immediately looked a lot smoother when I applied it! I put plenty under my eyes, and applied my foundation as normal. My fine lines looked nowhere near as visible as they were. Amazing result! However after a few hours my skin looked normal again.
So on a fresh application, I can definitely see an amazing result even though it is not long wearing. For €5 I think this is brilliant value and I will definitely be repurchasing.

An Essence Manicure
I decided to give myself an Essence manicure using some of their products I picked up recently.
Firstly I applied this cuticle remover gel. I really liked this. It has a subtle citrusy scent which was nice. The cuticles were so soft and easy to push back, and they felt so moisturised too.
These are the polishes I used. I applied three coats of the Iced Strawberry Cream. This is a gorgeous colour. It is a really pearly, peachy finish.
This Express Dry Spray is amazing! I had been using Essence's Express Dry Drops, but this spray is much better. It does not feel oily or greasy, and it is a lifesaver for me! I have an awful habit of painting my nails and ruining them when they are not properly dry! It also comes in handy when doing nail art and french polishes, it really speeds up the whole process.
For the tips, I used this white tip painter which I showed in a previous post. I can manage very well with this, it is a lot easier to use than regular nail polish brushes. The only downside is that the brush is so long and thin, sometimes large drops of polish fall down the applicator from the lid.
I got this Special Effect Topper at the weekend. I must admit that this polish looks a lot more interesting in the bottle than it does on the nail. It is basically a clear coat, with a very subtle pink shimmer through it. Don't get me wrong, it is lovely for this sort of a look. I love glitter polishes and this one isn't all that glittery. However, it is lovely for a nice subdued look which is what I wanted for my manicure.
And here is the finished product...
I am so bad at doing french polishes, but I don't think this one turned out too badly. The products used were great and I would highly recommend all of them! Essence is an amazing brand, I wish they sold their products online!
