Time to wrap up warm! New clothes from Joe Browns, House of Fraser and more

Over the last couple of weeks I have been collecting some new bits and pieces for the winter season coming in. It's no secret that winter is my favourite time of year, I just love all the clothes and the shops have some great bits right now.

These boots were a bit of an impulse buy to be honest! I have never owned a pair of boots like this, I don't usually go for boots higher than mid-calf length, and definitely not with a bit of a heel! But I did fall in love with these, they are great and are so versatile (suddenly I am reminded of Monica's boots!). The brand of them is called Odgi-Trends.

Ahhh I completely fell in love with this coat the moment I saw it in Miss Selfridge! I feel like I am back in the Sixties. I adore the fur collar and the pale blue colour. Can't wait to get wearing this!

This is the Orla Kiely / Papertree dress I got from House of Fraser (it's on sale too!). I love the neckline of it and the little sleeves, also the mustard colour! It's very comfortable too.

I got this lovely tunic top from Joe Browns, I am obsessed with this! It's a nice charcoal colour, and I adore the style of it. The back of it features a criss-cross design too. It's so nice to wear, it's one of those things that you can wear casually but it looks kind of dressy at the same time!

And another newbie from Joe Browns! Chunky knits are my absolute favourite and I could not pass this one up. It has gorgeous designs, I love the different textures and of course the faux fur collar. It has been great wearing this while it has been cold but not quite cold enough to wear a winter coat. I think it's probably my favourite thing to wear at the moment!

Hope you liked my little clothing haul! Do check out Joe Browns if you can, it has a fantastic selection of unusual clothes. I especially love their tunic tops to wear over leggings.
What winter clothes have you had your eye on lately?

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub and Body Buttercream

I don't know if I ever mentioned it here, but I must admit I am not the biggest fan of Soap and Glory (although I have barely tried any of their products). When they first came out I used to think that they were trying to imitate Benefit in their packaging and product names. I do think that all of their products are quite expensive for what they are, though. Despite that, I have been quite eager to try the Sugar Crush range as I was told (if I can recall by Makeup Monster) that this scent is similar to my all time favourite Yankee Candle, Vanilla Lime! And it sure is!

The scent is absolutely amazing, it is so sweet and fresh at the same time. Sometimes I can't resist just opening the tubs and smelling them, it's just so nice!

The scrub is really good. It's not too gentle yet it's not too harsh either. It is one of those scrubs which starts to dissolve upon contact with water. Now, it is not as bad as that terrible ridiculously overpriced Sampar scrub that I reviewed some time ago. It actually does give you plenty of time to scrub away at yourself, and it rinses off really well without leaving any residue at all.
I don't think I would like to use this scrub on dry skin as I feel that it might "drag" on your skin, but I really have been enjoying using it in the shower. And the scent fills the entire bathroom, it's wonderful!

The Body Buttercream is really quite nice too. It is not a heavy cream, it's quite light and soft but a little firm in texture. It smooths onto the skin beautifully and absorbs fairly quickly too. I have really been enjoying just smothering myself in this. The scent fades a little too quickly for me though, or else i am just getting used to it!

I think I am enjoying the Body Buttercream a lot more than the Body Shop Body Butter, which I do love but it's very thick and the Soap and Glory one is a lot lighter. However, the Soap and Glory one is not nearly as good as the L'Occitane Lime Body Butter which I used up over the summer, I am still mourning that one! I need to replace it ASAP but it's kinda expensive.

Maybe I was wrong about  Soap and Glory. I have been enjoying these products a lot. I do think that their products are a tad expensive though, I got these two in a buy one get one half price deal which wasn't bad. I don't think I would try any Soap and Glory makeup though, unless there is a holy grail must have item that I don't know about! If there is please let me know and I would consider giving it a try.

Recent Purchases! Featuring Yankee Candle & Revlon!

So my plan of not spending money on random stuff and saving up for my holidays isn't exactly going as planned! One little relapse is ok, right?

So on one of my usual trips to the Yankee Candle shop for a browse, I bought this small jar of "Paradise Spice" and a sampler of "Margarita Time"! I thought they were so lovely and fresh, they are the most summery Yankee Candles ever! After buying them I had £10.00 off on my reward card so I decided to get a big jar. The new Yankee Candle summer scents are amazing, but in the end I went for "Citrus Tango" - I love citrusy scents and this one is divine! I am trying to burn them one at a time, so as you can see Paradise Spice has been my first choice. It smells like pineapples!

So… you know Boots have 3 for 2 at the moment and I really wanted to try some Revlon stuff. I have heard so much about Revlon but I honestly have never tried anything from the brand, apart from a foundation. I know I really wanted a Lip Butter and I chose the shade Juicy Papaya! It is a great coral shade for summer. I also really wanted to try one of the Electric Chrome nail polishes, inspired by the new Amazing Spider-man 2 film. I chose Super-Powered, a gorgeous metallic blue. I love this shade, and I love the cute bottle with the spiderweb detail on the lid.
So of course I needed to pick a third item! And that item was one of the new scented nail polishes. The only colour I really wanted was this nice hot pink colour. This one is called African Tea Rose, and after trying this one I can safely say I do not like the scent! It is a bit overpowering at times and is a very strong, smells like a horrible perfume. The colour is nice though!

So, a slight relapse but hopefully I shall regain some self control and not buy anything else for a few weeks!
