Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse - Multi Purpose Dry Oil

This product featured a few posts back when I wrote about a few items which kept me going throughout the time that I wasn't feeling well. I thought it deserved it's own post! I have been using it non-stop, and it really is a multipurpose product.

I saw it in my local chemist and being completely besotted by the Prodigieuse scent, I bought it although I wasn't really quite sure what I was going to do with it! (apart from smell it!)

But ever since then, I have been using it all the time, sometimes even multiple times a day, on my face and my hair. My skin has been so dry and flaky lately, especially across my nose and this product has been amazing at remedying that. I put a few drops of the oil into my palms, rub my hands together and smooth it onto my face. The excess left on my hands I will rub into the ends of my hair. Sometimes though if my hair is feeling really dry I will use a few drops to run through the lengths and ends of my hair.

I haven't tried this on my body yet as I only bought the smaller bottle (which has the smallest opening in the world - I need to get the larger bottle next time with the spray pump) but I am sure it would be absolutely fantastic as a body oil. I would love to try the shimmery version in summer to add a bit of glow!

As for it being classed as a "dry oil", a description which kind of contradicts itself, I couldn't have been more surprised by this. There is absolutely no oily or greasy residue left after using it. It doesn't make for a messy application and really it is just a wonder product in my opinion!

I am completely and utterly overwhelmed by this oil. I don't think I could be without it in my skincare routine, although it is kind of a luxurious product. The fact that it is multi-usage and completely versatile justifies the price, right?!

Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Make Up Remover

I was absolutely delighted to get my hands on this lovely product! You might remember this came as part of a free gift that I got in Debenhams. I really needed an eye make up remover so it was great to get this one!

You can see that it has two layers, an oil layer and a water layer. You have to turn the bottle upside down to mix them together before using it. When you shake the bottle, it looks really foamy but it doesn't come out like this. It looks really cool in the bottle!

I just put a small amount on a cotton pad. It has a lovely scent, I can definitely smell rose in it, it reminds me of Turkish Delight! One good swipe with a cotton pad and your entire eye make up is removed. I am serious! Previously I had been using Garnier eye make up remover which I liked, but you can tell the difference with this one, being a high end brand. It is far more effective and I can assure you, you only need to use one little squirt per eye to remove all of your eye make up. It is fab, and hopefully this bottle will last me a long time! I am not sure if I will be able to afford this eye make up remover, but I promise you, it would be worth every penny as it is so good!

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Cleansing Oil

I have wanted to try a cleansing oil for a long time now. I found this product in Superdrug recently, and I thought why not give it a go. It calls itself a "15 second miracle" cleansing oil. Well, it's not wrong!

I was a bit dubious as it says it is suitable for face and eyes. What I did was apply 2 pumps of oil to my hands, rub my hands together and then onto my face. This stuff is absolutely brilliant for removing eye make up. I tried using the oil on a cotton pad to remove eye make up, but it is nowhere near as effective as using your fingertips. Just make sure you don't get any in your eyes!

Make up literally dissolves within seconds using this. It is fab! I never expected it to be so good. I had only ever used lotion cleansers before, but I have never used anything so quick and so effective for removing make up. My skin even looks a lot more healthy since I started to use it. To be completely honest, it does everything it says it does on the bottle! I couldn't fault it at all, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Garnier Ultimate Beauty Oil

I saw this beauty oil several weeks ago and was very interested to try it. At £7.99, it was a little more than I would like to spend especially for just 150ml of product. Anyway, I finally bought it at the weekend and have been using it every day since so as to give a proper review.

The bottle has a handy spray dispenser so you don't accidentally use too much! There is a pleasant scent off the oil, it's indescribable really but it is a nice scent, I think I may be a little addicted to it actually! Ever since I started using it, my skin has never felt so moisturised or looked so healthy. Also, I have been wearing a bit of fake tan and it has not budged one bit or gone patchy, so it's great for prolonging your tan as well! i really hate the stickiness of moisturisers. This doesn't feel sticky at all and is described on the bottle as non-transferrable, which so far i definitely agree with.

My overall opinion of this product is very high, it seems that everyone is oil crazy at the moment, but I really think that this little gem it definitely worth the price and you can really see the results. It is a little pricey though, and you can see that I have used quite a lot of mine already. On feel unique.com they sell for £6.80 a bottle. I'll definitely be re-purchasing this!!
